Welcome to Insomnia 2! This is a love letter to my original character Vivian, going over everything from his designs, his stories and the arts of him. If you want to learn more about him (or just want a collection of my works), you’ve come to the right place!
A few years ago, I made my first digital zine called Insomnia - also dedicated to Vivian. However, his story has developed during those few years, and I feel like it deserves an update (or overhaul) for anyone interested! This one will have more commentary and text, since it’s easier to express my thoughts behind each works :3c Insomnia (the original zine) is available on my Ko-fi store as a free / pay-what-you-want digital zine. Lots of text, lots of art throughout the years I’ve had him, and compliments towards the inspiration I’ve pulled from to make him. Honestly, I considered drawing a whole set of new art for this zine, but I am not the same person I was when I did my first zine - I just don’t have the same amount of time or energy to blaze through pages after pages of art (even if it’s just sketches). Also, I think it’s kinda endearing to revisit older art even if it’s not as consistent and give my commentary. If you are up for that, continue on!
